So I applied the 2 new patches on top of the orig. 4.9.62. Better now but not yet completely OK: ... [drm:ironlake_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* CPU pipe A FIFO underrun [drm:ironlake_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* PCH transcoder A FIFO underrun ... No random flicker so far but flicker when I enter a character in an x-terminal. Seems your patches fixed only half of the pipes. ;) So long!
