Hi Gurus: I just noticed that gpu reset has been slightly changed on gen8. New registers: 20d0/120d0/220d0… named RESET_CTRL were introduced to issue a CS stop context switching ACK sequence(set bit 0 then polling bit 1) before issuing a engine reset. I’m wondering if full gpu reset also need this sequence or a full gpu reset has already covered this process…Anyone can teach me something? :)Thanks.
