IEGD = Intel Embedded Graphics Drivers

These drivers are for embedded devices such as ATM machines or pocket
PC's. In other words, its for lesser systems I guess you could say
like XP Embedded.

These drivers are also more updated then the normal XP drivers from
Intel, so these are in most cases a better driver. However, on the
current release of IEGD, there is no OpenGL support (Intel says they
may release it to windows in the future, but as of now, its only on
linux).

So if you need OpenGL, I recommend stock or some other modded drivers
for XP. If you want pure d3d performance, then IEGD works great.

Heres an example of how good IEGD is. On Diablo 2 under D3D mode with
stock drivers, I get 15-30FPS with like 20 frames skipped. With IEGD,
I get 50-60 with less then 5 frames skipped on average.
