Hi list. I was expecting remote QtQuick based applications to be rather unusable without software renderer fallback.
However I was positively surprised to see that deployment as "Citrix Published Application" works quite well. General performance (listview scrolling, animations) on a local network is better than expected. Tests were done using Qt 5.4/angle with a VMWare virtualized Citrix server (DirectX enabled). However the typically increased memory usage of Qml based applications might become a problem when used on shared resources like a Citrix farm. But this is another story.
