The ability to generate new Qt Quick projects using qmake was deliberately removed from Qt Creator 10.0: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTCREATORBUG-28964
It will come back in a future release: https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qt-creator/qt-creator/+/473719 Qt Creator 10.0 can still load and build existing .pro files that use Qt Quick. We can also manually convert a qmake-based console/widgets application into a Qt Quick application.
