I have been asking both directly and through surrogates for this since 1995! While Adam doesn't say it, I presume he is aware that it is easy to suspend paging IF you can get to the server.
Bill it really is needed. It's when all staff is remote from the server, it's really troublesome. Once IM-R has the ability to work with the notification lists, some of this need is removed. However, it gets back to the discussion we had on the list in 1998 regarding devices we see only when closer devices are UP. Is this something we can work on? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Adam Kincheloe Sent: Wednesday, September 11, 2002 8:39 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Suspend Paging? Greetings, With the paging built-in to Intermapper, is there a way to Suspend Paging? In PageNow, there was a menu option to Suspend Paging to prevent pages from being sent. This was very handy if we knew of a network problem and did not want pages to be sent. If its not in Intermapper, is it possible to add? Thanks!
