This is what we do and I posted our code and working setup details to the 
list about a year ago.

Then we were copying the maps to another server using AppleTalk but now we 
do it using IP so the remote server(s) are in remote POPs as headless Macs.

If there is interest, I will repost the code... once we have written up the 
new setup.

I also posted code for rotating a sequence of maps so you can use a large 
plasma display or monitor more efficiently. Maybe these got added by the IM 
folks to the additional tools page?
