I upgraded to 4.1.3b2 and I noticed that some of my maps have an asterisk at the end of their title.
I looked through the documentation but didn't see any obvious references to this phenomenon.
Before I end up reading the documentation cover to cover can someone enlighten me?
I thought it might mean that the map needs to be saved, because saving the map causes the asterisk to go away, but after a period of time the asterisk comes back even if I do not modify the map.
You are right--it means that a map is "dirty" and needs to be saved. The map may believe it needs to be saved even if you don't modify the map yourself.
