Has anyone developed a probe for determining the status of an Enterasys N-series switch? We need to know the status of individual blades in the chassis; the generic ping probe simply gives the status of the whole switch (which is usually up even if all the blades aren't).
There is a MIB which will indicate the status of each blade but I'm not sure how to write a probe that will indicate a problem with the switch when any blade goes down.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
