Hi, I have an interesting problem and was wondering whether anybody else has come up with a solution.
We have two Intermapper servers; one on standby and one as a primary. The problem is that the Notification list on the primary is updated on a regular basis and I am looking for a way of mirroring this on the standby server. I could simply mirror this file but the next issue is that both machines have different names for their hard disks and therefore the fallover scripts that are needed will be in the wrong place ie : Primary:Intermapper:etc, etc and Secondary:Intermapper:etc, etc Unfortunately there does not be a way of manually editing the notification list - it can only be set using finder. Has anybody else had a similar problem? Or does anybody know of a way around this other than remembering to edit the notification list on each machine.
