It would be nice if we could get the probes by themselves. I am hoping we wouldn't have to buy another product to get the probes? I would like to see the Alvarion probes fixed (maybe not the right word) so that the wireless port connects to the AU it is associated with. Then the wired ethernet port could connect with what ever it is connected to switch, router or computer to monitor the through put and errors on it. I am not sure how to probe on an ifIndex number to get the radio port or the wired port. Maybe it would have to be 2 devices one for each port? That would be a great Alvarion probe in my eyes. Is there anyway to force an ifIndex = 1 or ifIndex = 2 for a probe?

Thanks
Bennie

WISPerMapper is simply InterMapper with the addition of a set of probes for
wireless equipment.

- InterMapper monitors the "wired" equipment using the probes you're already
familiar with.

- The Wireless addon gives the ability to monitor the "wireless" equipment
listed on this page: http://www.wispermapper.com/unsupportedgear.html

Note that some of the probes listed on this page are in development as part of
our InterMapper 4.3 test program. Contact me if you'd like to try 'em out.
