We have a similar request.

I would like to see it ask for either a data size (in MB) or a date range. We have some charts that have huge amounts of data that makes it hard to scroll through, and others that we only need to see the last month or two.

We are looking to include a feature in version 4.3 that will allow users to remove old data from their strip charts, but manually one chart at a time. A facility for auto-trimming all charts will have to wait for a future version. In the currently released version, InterMapper does not make it easy to delete old chart data.

Can you provide us with some specific input about how you would like to see InterMapper control the amount of strip chart data?

Thanks,

In 2003 I've got an answer from William W. Fisher (see Question 2
below).
He mentioned that a feature will be there in 4.05.
Now we are at 4.2.4...
Is it already there and I'm to dump to find it?
Or is it still missing?

The feature is not yet available; you are not missing anything. :(
