The UPS probe bundle for InterMapper now contains six probes. Thank you for all
of your input and feedback on these UPS devices. Please continue to send in
requests for the UPS probes you would like to see supported by InterMapper.

The bundle contains probes for
- standard UPS devices (implementing RFC1628) <Dartware>
- Liebert UPS devices [Emerson] <Dartware>
- Exide UPS devices (implementing the Powerware MIB) [Eaton] <Stewart Harris>
- Tripp-Lite UPS devices <Dartware>
- Victron / Riello UPS devices <Juergen Braendle>
- APC's Smart UPS devices <Dartware>
(Note: These are still test probes, so your feedback is appreciated.)

We are still looking for UPS devices to add to the bundle, so please continue
to request probes for your UPS devices. It also is helpful if you can send us
the SNMP data collected by iReasoning's SNMP Agent Simulator. We can use the
data file you send us to simulate the device while testing the probe.

You can download the SNMP Agent Simulator program from the following URL:

        http://simulator.ireasoning.com/downloadsimulator.shtml

Instructions for generating a simulator data file:
- download simulator from the URL above
- install the simulator & run it
- go to "Tools" > "Record SNMP Walk"
- fill out IP, port, & community for your UPS device
- "browse" to select a path where you want the file saved
- set "Times" to "3"
- click "record"
- then send me the data file! (Please mention the vendor/model information for
the device.)
