Subject: [IM-Talk] Import/Export: Anyone have a DB setup running?

Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone have Intermapper set up to import/export to a database
system?

If so, questions arise:

How do you handle IM layouts from the DB (if done)?
How do you connect interfaces?
How do you automate the process? (via CLI I assume, but called from cron, php,
OS X Folder Actions ???)

In my initial brainstorm here, it seems like a huge step to automate this.
Mainly the layout's of maps and interconnections of interfaces is what puzzles
me currently, but I guess it's possible...?

I guess my dream senario would be a MySQL interface in IM, and then simply set
it up to update maps from the table data.. ;-)

Or, if it was possible to send XML via XMLHttpRequests... or am I making it
harder than it is?
