Hi, For our first year, we have been using InterMapper to monitor devices mostly network equipment (Routers, Switches, Wireless Access Points, UPS systems and a few servers).
A new project has started, that will attempt to use InterMapper to monitor services and phase out our Patrol system. We have over 300+ services to monitor such as DHCP, DNS, Kronos, File Services, Web services, FTP service, Proxy service, storage management, Firewall, LDAP, Radius, Kerberos, Mysql, backups, Cold Fusion, Sun Cluster, ConnectNY Library catalog app... and so on. If anyone is using InterMapper to monitor many services, is there any advice, suggestions, comments you can offer us. This project is just starting, so we may have more specific questions in the future.
