Is there a probe for some of the "web smart" switches out there? These are
managed switches, do vlans, and everything, but managed via a webpage
rather than SNMP. The problem is that I'd like to see interface traffic on
these, but typical web page probes dont seem to have a method for showing
networks hanging off a device. Is there a way to do this yet?
I'd really like to spend $150 on a websmart switch rather than $1500 on the
equivalent "full featured" switch from Cisco. (And no, the websmart switch
is not a Cisco, its an amer.com). But I really like to see the traffic on
the ports themselves... I intend to use the websmart switches in buildings
that only have 5 or so connections anyway, so I suppose its really no big
deal, but would be nice.
