It's true. We will not bring out a Traditional version of InterMapper 4.5.
As I said back in May, the expense of developing the GUI twice - in Traditional
and in the RemoteAccess (Java) application - was holding back development of new
features. In addition, there were significant bugs (Traditional's mishandling of
non-Roman characters, for example) that made it prohibitive to continue with

But I hope you'll be pleased with how the new RemoteAccess application has
evolved. We've incorporated the Info windows and Responsibilities that were
valuable features of Traditional. There are a number of new facilities that
bring new value to the application. (See http://www.intermapper.com/im45.html
for a description of the new features.)
