We've noticed quirky behavior, for lack of a better description, since
upgrading to InterMapper 4.5.
We am running InterMapper 4.5 on a G4/733 with 640 meg of RAM, running
OSX Tiger 10.4.8. We're monitoring about 350 devices, on 11 maps, each
polling at 1 minute intervals.
While staring at the screen, I frequently notice the status popup
informing me that InterMapper server is stopped. It appears to only
stop for a moment. The maps always stay active and I never need to
restart InterMapper Server.
Sometimes the events will be separated by only a few seconds, sometimes
separated by several minutes.... there doesn't seem to be a pattern.
It does seem to occur when there is some sort of map state change,
particularly if an audible alert is sent.
I don't see anything obvious in the debug log about the server
stopping/starting.
Is this anything to worry about? Any clues if it's related to
InterMapper, or the host computer?
