Hi Jeff,

I sent this reply to your question on 3/27/07:

**We have many customers who are using the SNMP MIB II probe on SonicWall
firewalls, so you should give that a try first (assuming this model is
SNMP-enabled). If you run into any difficulties or have additional
questions, please send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and we will be happy
to assist you further.**

By "default probe", I assume you are using the Ping/Echo probe. If this is
the case, have you tried using the SNMP MIB II probe? If you cannot get the
device to respond to the SNMP MIB II probe with relevant data, I would be
happy to open a support ticket for you.

Subject: [IM-Talk] Probe for SonicWall Security Appliance

Didn't get any response a while ago when I asked this question, so will try
again.

Is anyone using a probe other than ping/echo on a SonicWall security
appliance? Our model is a Pro 3060, and we seem to have dropped packet
issues with the default probe (I assume due to the device ignoring pings
when busy).
