We are an Australian company with sales around the world.

We have been using the HTTP Probe with a specifically crafted query to return
which of the load balanced web servers we got to and if the back-end SQL server
and Databases were up. We were just looking for an 'UP' string on about line 6
of the return. This is working fine on Australian hosted web sites...

We have just started to run up a hosted environment in the US and the
programmers have increased the amount of checking the script is doing, some 24
sub-queries. So much so that it is taking 47 - 49 seconds to return. We are
getting HTTP 400 Bad Requests as the return from the poll.

We were polling every 30 seconds - I have pushed this out to 1 minute with no
change in return.

Have we hit a time-out on the poll??

Or are we being optimistic??
