Internally, the default is for IM to bind to ANY_HOST (0.0.0.0) so it will 
respond to connections on any interface.  The
only way to override this behavior is to use the --listen command line argument 
when invoking
/usr/local/bin/intermapperd.  To me, it does not sound like you are using this 
argument, so I am puzzled that it does
not work.

The server settings window only displays the IP address/URL to the first 
interface, so it may only appear that IM only
listens on one interface, but we don't do anything to preclude the others from 
working.

Please confirm the listening behavior of your InterMapper server.

  sudo lsof -i -P | grep interm

I would also doublecheck the configuration of the Mac OS X firewall.

  sudo ipfw list
