 Yes, it would provide a cleaner way to monitor multiple services per
server.

One example is a server that is running DNS, HTTP and HTTPS. Today I have to
create three devices to monitor those ports/protocols.

Yes, all the services mentioned are bound to the same real IP address.

I think same polling interval would be more efficient, I would want to know
if some or all services are affected at the same poll interval.

One set of notifiers would be sufficient, because one person/dept maintains
that device.
