I am trying to track down some possibly erroneous SNMP stats as well. Our Procurve 2848 is reporting an MTU of 9212 on all interfaces, all of which the CLI says are not jumbo-enabled (Jumbo frames are enabled per VLAN on the 2800 series). Getif reports the same thing. Either SNMP on the Procurve is reporting wrong or the CLI is lying and the ports really are set to jumbo.
