I am trying to track down some possibly erroneous SNMP stats as well. Our
Procurve 2848 is reporting an MTU of 9212 on all interfaces, all of which the
CLI says are not jumbo-enabled (Jumbo frames are enabled per VLAN on the 2800
series). Getif reports the same thing. Either SNMP on the Procurve is reporting
wrong or the CLI is lying and the ports really are set to jumbo.

I haven't run into this before. I'm wondering if it could be a problem with
64-bit vs 32-bit counters? As far as a good MIB walker goes, I've used Getif
(http://www.wtcs.org/snmp4tpc/getif.htm) in the past with good results. It only
works with SNMPv1, though...
