Yeah, there are a lot of those Remote Desktop applications for the
iPhone platform. RD, VNC, etc..
But remotely, on a small screen, managing a Java based application on
a desktop with your fingers... naaaaaa...... not the best solution.
I would just like to eliminate the overhead of transmitting a huge
screen image. A native XML interface(or what ever they use to send
back & forth the IMR data) would be much more efficient.
I haven't tried to wrap a iPhone CSS template around the IM webserver,
but that could be a start... but that does not give us the ACK option!

Would be much better with an iPhone app that shows the errors with
possibility to respond to it, like in the native IMR.
Now, where is that Cocoa book I think I bought back in the days... ;-)

Currently while mobile, which is much of the time, I have to phone
in to other staff to ask them to ACK something for me. Not very high
tech, considering other network management platforms allow web based
management.
