For instance, it would help to be able to select a device and choose an interface, select data points for a chart and then request that intermapper use that chart as a template for ALL (or selected) interface(s) on a device (or devices). It currently isn't possible to select more than one port-link on the map view, so selecting multiple ports (or interfaces) may need to be done form the interface listing. We are working towards using the web interface to allow our individual departments to view their network utilization/errors on a per-port basis as well as view a map of their network. Creating both bandwidth and error graphs for every interface by hand, dragging and dropping, takes too long and we have chosen not to do it on on the scale described. This means we have to point the users to two sites, one for the map with Intermapper and another for Cacti and graphing. I would prefer this be done in one app. Thank you for your time, David B.
