My iPhone is pretty close to being the perfect remote network
engineering tool. I've got ping, traceroute, ssh, and with VNC I can
remotely connect to my desktop. The only thing I am missing is
Intermapper. Sure I can use VNC to open my Intermapper server, but it
is just about impossible to open new maps or charts.
I imagine an Intermapper iPhoneRemoteAccess client would let you
connect to one server at a time, and look at one map or one chart at
at time, and there would be little controls along the bottom of the
display that would bring up the map list, device list, or chart list
for a map.
Rich et al, any plans for this?
