Well, that has never been the scope of InterMapper. It's scope is
Monitoring, not management or configuration handling.
It could be coming, I'm not sure, but right now I think there is A Lot
of other features in the pipeline that is more important to Monitoring
your network.
For Asset Management and the like, I would suggest you look at
something like LanRev or (aww..) HP OpenView
A web gui for the database
The DB schematics are open. Build one you need.. ;-)
Ack via SMS, email
Should be possible _ but it needs to integrate with Your SMS service -
building a global solution would be a big feature I guess.
Maybe the better question here would be: Could someone provide script
examples that show how to ACK a device via the CLI or Web interface?
