Hi Ryan,
We ran into this problem too, when Firefox 3 was released. There's a
fix in 5.0.3+ that makes new certificates use a large random number,
instead of a fixed value, as the serial. If you stop IMDC on one of
your machines, delete the two .pem files from /usr/local/imdc/config,
then start IMDC again, it will generate a new cert. Or you can replace
them (either manually or through the Settings page in the IMDC web
interface) with your own key/cert, as long as they're in PEM format.

I've installed IMDC on two different machines that run completely
separate InterMapper Server instances and licenses. (One OSX, one RedHat
Linux)
When I connect to the https::/host1:8182/ and firefox pulls down the
cert and everything works great.
However, when I connect to https://host2:8182/ I get the error:
##
You have received an invalid certificate. Please contact the server
administrator or email correspondent and give them the following
information:
Your certificate contains the same serial number as another certificate
issued by the certificate authority. Please get a new certificate
containing a unique serial number.
(Error code: sec_error_reused_issuer_and_serial)

If I go remove the certificate in firefox for host1, then host2 will
work. But then of course host1 stops working.
I've found the certificate files in /usr/local/imdc/config on the linux
box and would like to generate new certificates but I'm unable to find
instructions on the Dartware website. (I know how to generate regular
SSL certs for Apache use, but didn't know if it would work here.)
