InterMapper works very well for us for alerting and networking
monitoring/diagnosis. I don't think I would want to complicate things by
trying to make it a do-all configuration product. I fear that if we try to
make InterMapper all things to all people it will become bloated and overly
complicated.  I like the "KISS" rule...Keep It Simple, Stupid!

In defense of Dartware, they've been very proactive and receptive to
suggestions and InterMapper continues to improve, though lately it's been
mostly minor updates (summer vacation?).  I would expect them to evaluate
everybody's suggestions and work viable improvements into the next release.
