Dartware is pleased to announce the availability of InterMapper 5.2.1.
This production version of the software is recommended for all customers
and is a no-cost upgrade for everyone whose maintenance
contract is currently in force.
InterMapper 5.2.1 includes some new features and a few bug fixes. For a
complete list, please visit the "What's New" page and read the Release
Notes. You'll find links to both further in this message.
- Implemented IP-address filtering for the SNMP OID Error detailed log
option.
- Enhanced the InterMapper Engine Status probe for better diagnostics in
case of problems with the InterMapper server.
- Disabled TLS extensions that were causing the HTTPS probe to mark a
device as DOWN when probing servers which failed to implement TLS
according to the spec.
- Provided flag, UI to allow setting detailed logging for fonts.
- Fixed a bug in the Mac OS X installer that caused it to replace an
existing 'intermapper' user/group, rather than leaving them un-modified.
- It is once again possible to use Windows shortcuts for the Chart Data
folder and other InterMapper Settings folders.
- Contextual menu for member probes in Info Window should contain
SNMPWalk action.
- IMDatabase Daily and weekly maintenance is now roughly 15-20 percent
faster, due to optimized row and size counts.
- IMDatabase Improved the algorithm used to calculate estimated disk
usage on the Overview page.
