While working with a few charts today I wanted to have a few up at the same time but not have the underlying maps active. There is a preference selection for this but it doesn't seem to do anything.
I'm using IM Remote 5.2.2 and whether I check/uncheck to leave the chart up when parent map isn't active, the chart disappears when the map does. Am I doing something wrong? (or incomplete?) Also, an interesting observation. Today I upgraded our main Intermapper to 5.2.2. I waited and waited and waited for it to return. Our national NOC watches this thing so I panic when it looks like a rough upgrade is happening. However - it came back and I thought things were cool. One little exception, one of the maps monitors the Intermapper service. Kinda of funny as supposedly, if it is down then how can you be seeing that probe go down.... But that's just what I see now. The NT Services probe says that the Intermapper service is down - blinking red at me. So I look at the server and indeed Services says that Intermapper is "starting". This although IM Remotes can see all the maps. No number of refreshes brings Services to report "running". Didn't want to do a lot playing as I had to get it back to national quickly. Any idea what this is all about? I'll schedule a reboot to see if that clears it up.
