Yeah, I was trying to avoid that, cuz I was afraid of that looping. 
So I figured it out. Basically, I "add an icon" to the map and set the
double-click-URL. Your tip worked.

I should add that it's important _not_ to drag the parent map onto the
submap, as you'll essentially create an infinite loop.
