I have enabled the SNMP - Basic OID probe on a couple of servers, and I am
confused about the results.

1: How does this probe determine TX/RX/minute errors?

The reported uptime is correct, but it is reporting TX/RX errors on eth0, yet
the host does not report errors on eth0 using ifconfig.

2: Are the TX/RX details a cumulative counter? If so, when is it reset?

At 03:30 this morning, the host was showing over 4 billion TX/RX/minute errors
which is impossible to me to believe, but at 09:25, the TX/minute rate was
106072 and RX/minute rate was 2697. Using ifconfig on the host, no TX/RX
errors are reported, nor are there interface errors on the switch port it is
connected to.

Thank you for any help.
