One common cause of this problem is that the host running InterMapper has some other server set to use port 8181, which is the port that InterMapper normally uses for client access. If you don't think that's the case, it would best if you were to submit a bug report to tech support at [email protected]. Better yet, if you use the bug reporter in the InterMapper GUI directly after receiving the error, we will automatically get a log which may be helpful.
