The error you're seeing is "tag mismatch", which means that we found something unexpected in the file. Although it is a big jump in version, I don't think this should be a problem in general--as far as I know, 5.3.8 should read files created in 5.0.3 okay. Is there a possibility that there is a probe that you used in the older version that doesn't exist in the newer version? On occasion, that can cause the error you're seeing. It would probably be a good idea to open a ticket with our technical support at [email protected]. Please send them the description you've listed here along with one of the maps that isn't loading.
