Hello everyone, I've recently been experimenting with the Layer2 features of InterMapper. Perhaps I've missed this in the documentation or I'm viewing the wrong documents but I'm having some difficulty.
I want to setup some Cisco switches so that switch-to-switch connections are automatically drawn on the map. I've had some success using the following setup. Switch A - Running CDP and SNMPv1 Switch B - Running CDP and SNMPv1 The connections are calculated and drawn without any problems however my desired setup is as follows. Switch A - Running LLDP and SNMPv3 Switch B - Running LLDP and SNMPv3 I've tested that LLDP is working correctly between the switches and can see the neighbour information. I've tested SNMPv3 and am able to use some extended Cisco switch probes that I found on the InterMapper site, however using SNMPv3 switch-to-switch connections don't work even with CDP. I suspect maybe I have to include some OID's in the SNMP view on the switch however I've tried "iso included" and several other groups but nothing seems to work. Any insight would be greatly appreciated and if you have any questions please let me know.
