Hi Leonard, Currently IMDC supports just the one admin user. Multiple users with granular access controls, or even integration with IM, is something that we've certainly considered, but not yet added to the product.
Fortunately, I think the existing URL Link feature of Reports does most of what you're looking for. We embed authentication information in the links, and these permissions are only valid for Reports. If you forward someone a link, they can view either just that one report (if you checked the 'lock' box) or are able to create/load new reports as well. But if they try to visit the IMDC home page, or anything else outside of Reports, they'll have to first log in. I hope that helps, David lsiu wrote: > Is there a way to have user accounts which will only be able to login to > InterMapper reports? ----------- David Schnur Dartware, LLC -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.dartware.com/viewtopic.php?p=3542#3542 ____________________________________________________________________ List archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ To unsubscribe: send email to: [email protected]
