In Monitor -> Set Thresholds..., change the Down threshold for number of lost 
packets.

If you set the down threshold to N, InterMapper makes (N - 1) SNMP attempts. If 
those fail to elicit a response, InterMapper sends an ICMP echo. If there is 
now an echo response, this sets the "No SNMP Response" condition.

There is a property you can set in a custom SNMP probe to turn off ICMP 
fallback.
