There are low tech things compared to much you guys work on.
Group/Ungroup
Once I group items I freeze the probe and other values unless I
ungroup them. Once I ungroup them I must go through a number of steps to get
the group back to where I want it: Name/Icon/Position...
I want a way - and I don't care how - to modify items/value within a
group (even if I must ungroup) without losing the group values previously
established.
Things Down within a group:
I need a way within a group of probes to note that a Probe is down
but other probes are still up. "Not all Downs are the same." Some downs lead
us to an impaired status where some things are working but something is not.
For a group I need a meta Down rule. Only show down when X (or X+X+X+X) are
down. Show Impaired(Purple) when only X (or X+X+X) are Down.
Different Notification Rules in groups:
I would like to see the ability to send Impaired, Critical, Warning,
UP and DOWN notifications based on granular rules. An warning rule I might
want to delay for specific staff hours while a DOWN I might want to send out
at any time.
DAMPing:
The UP notification. When things are bouncing, the DOWN/UP notifications are
a pain. There should be a damping rule... after N bounces send a (X is
Bouncing or X is Impaired [user choice based on the probes used]) and an
Impairment-Bouncing/Cleared message is only sent after N minutes or hours of
stability.
Stored notification Profiles:
I will like to have profiles of how I want to be notified as named sets that
I can apply in two or three clicks total to one or a group of devices.
