Believe it or not, we get several outages a day that are merely informational as they are dialup VPNs that are "normally" down.
When things are busy it is painful to right click device, click acknowledge - then click the ok on the ack window. We practically never (though a few times on major links) ever use the ack window to enter a reason/story/ticket. So my wish would be to have a simpler ack. Just right click and then click ack - and be done. An option to add a comment on the second window could be presented. Perhaps ack (and disappear) and ack with comment? IM already automatically enters the name/ip/time of the ack which is good enough for us on these devices. We don't want to use the permanent acks as the up/down shows us that they're working. (Went green at some point, we probably didn't notice but then goes flashing red on disconnect. Flashing red does catch our eye and we think - cool, that cct is working - don't have to test it and then we ack it) We have a lot of these types of circuits and sometimes I just let them blink until someone complains about all the red stuff.
