Per the current schedule ( https://wiki.php.net/todo/php80 ), PHP 8.0 is
set for feature freeze and branching on July 28th which is 3 calendar
months from today (13 weeks).

I would like to encourage everyone currently working on a proposal to
please plan on getting your RFCs into voting no later than June 16th (7
weeks from now, and 6 weeks from FF). This will allow sufficient time for
a 2 week vote and provide a cushion for surprise delays. Obviously, you
can run all the way up to the last minute by opening voting on July 14th,
and closing the vote/committing on the 28th, but I ask that you please
don't. Take the time you have now to get your proposals in order.

8.0 is already packed with some fantastic goodness (
https://wiki.php.net/rfc#php_80 ) so if your RFC doesn't make the date,
that's okay. 8.1 will be one short year around the corner.

Thanks for your attention, and good luck on your RFC votes!
-Sara
