Indeed it was cut off I rephrased it as follow:

Does this mean that `LazyLaxCollection` will expose the stream metadata?

If I receive a `LazyLaxCollection` instance in a method or function, will I
be able to access the underlying resource metadata:

   - understand how the stream was opened,
   - retrieve its pathname, and ... ?
   - can I easily determine whether the underlying stream is a local file,
a temporary file, a memory stream, or something else?

These are genuine questions that someone might ask when working with an
instantiated `LazyLaxCollection` object.
