It rates pretty high on my list when I have to dig into (somebody else's) code trying to find which one of the dozens of "&"'s is causing the random segfaults, etc. anomalities. And eventually decide that the best way to get it to work is either rewrite all of it or simply remove every single "&" from the files and try and fix what might break.. So no, by no means: Don't fix it!
