Graphical user interface designers understand the idea of an 'affordance'. An affordance is something whose operation is obvious simply by looking at it. An uparrow button moves something upwards. 'include' is an affordance. It obviously includes a local file. In essence, php's include is an apple with a razor blade hidden in it. In essence, allow_url_fopen==no wraps all fruit with a metal mesh so when you bite into them, your mouth is protected from the razor blade in the apple.
