Yes, it took an exhaustive search of the hard drive to find the problem. Some software I installed, put a php5ts file in a folder that got added to the PATH. It was confusing for me since apache kept saying PHP 5.2.0RC2. The module was that version, but when loading php5ts it took some other one in preference to the one in the same folder. I hate windows.
