That's where our opinions differ. There is nothing wrong with these
calls and it is a documented behavior. If you take a look at my patch,
you will notice how easy it is to make php_mktime as fast as time()
when no argument are given. Minimum effort for zero impact in
userland. But no, it's too easy.
