I am partial to file.p btw. PHP without the HP, or Hypertext Pre-Processing- whatever that is! ;) In fact, it could mean PHP without the Html Passthrough. You get the point. phpc to me seems to imply a compile cache, like .pyc -ralph
all over the place in every file (as with old-fashioned uses of 'require', and various templating situations). I will revise the RFC shortly.
