Project ERP Position Description : This individual will perform functional analysis, functional specification development, technical design, and testing associated with the support of SAP Payroll and Time integration with other SAP HR and BN modules, SAP FI, and legacy systems. The individual will work with project management, process leads, configures, other business analysts, and system users to develop business processes and solutions. Responsibilities • Assist in gap analysis between M-DCPS requirements and SAP functionality, review and adopt new functionality in SAP • Review M-DCPS process requirements and suggest further enhancements and improvements where possible • Configure SAP system settings according to M-DCPS business requirements and document all configuration • Identify needs for systems development, specify requirements and review data requirements with Development Team • Write functional specifications for development objects • Write and/or assist in development of BPPs and other training material • Assist in the preparation and validation of end user training and documentation • Maintain SAP Payroll tables as needed • Report delays and risks to team leads • Adhere to ERP PMO project standards • Manage design and/or revise relevant policies and procedures • Build solutions in Payroll according to business requirements Qualifications • SAP version ECC 6 implementation experience • Minimum 6 years in SAP HR/Payroll configuration experience • Experience with SAP Concurrent Employment • Experience with K-12 or public sector implementations • Able to configure SAP Payroll tables for Gross Payroll, Net Payroll, Third-party Remittance, and Payroll Posting • Experience in writing payroll schema rules • Experience with BSI, configuring Tax Reporter, and reconciling tax data • Experience with deduction configuration and processing Benefits integration, Garnishments • Experience with SAP Third-Party Remittance and integration with SAP FI • Strong experience with SAP Payroll implementations • Experience writing SAP HR Functional Specifications especially for SAP Payroll • Strong ability and experience with writing detailed SAP Payroll functional and technical specifications • Experience in developing, writing, and/or reviewing business process procedures • Additional skills in other SAP modules a plus • Ability to communicate in oral and written form effectively • Must be able to participate in a team environment • ABAP skills a plus ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
