Client is currently seeking an Oracle EBS Functional Analyst to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA.  The Oracle eBusiness Suite Functional Analysts will be responsible for providing functional business process support to end-users for the Oracle eBusiness Suite (eBS) R12 Financial modules. These modules include: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Tax, Project, SLA, Discrete Costing, and OPM Costing.

 

Major responsibilities:

  • Writing and interpreting functional design documents for Oracle add-ons and extensions
  • Gathering customer requirements and issues and working with technical developers, DBAs, and Oracle Support to meet these requirements and resolve issues
  • Performing application configuration setups
  • Performing thorough testing of application changes and adhering to standards and practices that meet Quality Management and ISO standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite Financial modules.
  • Proven ability to develop comprehensive test plans, scripts and cases and perform unit and comprehensive testing with system developers to ensure overall functionality and technical quality of deliverables.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and problems, monitor progress against plan, and communicate status to Leads.
  • Verbal and written communication skills to work with R2R team and the eBS R2R users to define requirements, manage expectations and analyze issues.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Expertise in at least one Financial module is a must
  • Strong experience entering, monitoring, and resolving Oracle SRs
  • Proven skills writing SQL queries against Oracle eBS tables
  • Desired Skills/Qualities:
  • Discrete Costing or OPM Costing expertise
  • General Ledger and SLA expertise.
  • Vertex O Series Tax software
