Skills Required and Job Description:

Job Qualifications: 5+ years related experience in Unix System Administration.  In-depth technical knowledge of the following: Support AIX in a virtualized environment.  Experienced with VIO, LPAR configuration, NIM, network connectivity understanding LHEA, EtherChannel, and SEA configuration, Virtual SCSI, NPIV, OS patch management, Unix security. Support HMC version 7 and above.  Ability to perform backup and recovery of the HMC. Linux utilizing RHEL, and software, volume, & security management of the Linux environment. SAN connectivity.  Configuration of multipath software, operational support of PowerPath, performance analysis of multipath software. SAN storage configuration utilizing EMC VNX & Isilon storage technology, and EMC CLARiiON.  SAN zoning and port configuration. System administration utilizing automated tools and unix scripting: ksh, bash, perl. System performance analysis utilizing topas/nmon, SNMP tools (i.e. Solarwinds) Working knowledge of backup systems, preferably CommVault. System Integration/Design Troubleshooting Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors Degree Preferred Percent of Travel:  25% or Less
